Workshop Overview

For over a decade, HR has been teaching growth mindset. Yet most organizations still struggle with the same pattern: people who work hard but cannot unlearn, teams that learn constantly but drift without direction, and managers who burn out chasing growth that does not compound.

This workshop introduces the Hungry-Agile Practitioner, a new operating framework for HR in the era of AI and accelerating change. Built on the Certified Hunger philosophy, the session helps HR leaders diagnose where they and their teams truly stand on two invisible axes that drive sustainable growth: directional hunger and learning agility.

Participants leave with a self-diagnostic, a table-level pattern map, and a clear commitment to one thing they will unlearn starting Monday.

This workshop is designed for:

Understand why growth mindset and learning agility, while valuable, are insufficient on their own for HR practitioners navigating AI-era disruption.

Map themselves and their teams on the Hungry-Agile Practitioner Matrix, a 2x2 diagnostic framework that reveals the four archetypes of growth.

Identify the hidden fourth archetype, the Restless Drifter, a high-performing yet directionless pattern that most HR systems reward but fail to develop.

Practice a table-based diagnostic exercise that transforms individual self-awareness into collective team insight.

Commit to one specific belief about developing people they will retire and one new practice they will adopt starting the following week.

This workshop is designed for:

HR leaders

Activities

The Hungry-Agile Practitioner Matrix

Two axes Hunger (vertical axis).
Directional appetite for becoming. Not ambition. Not grit. The willingness to pursue discomfort with clear purpose.

Learning Agility (horizontal axis).
Speed of the unlearn-relearn cycle. The capacity to revise mental models under new information.

This is a diagnostic lens. People move between quadrants depending on context, team, and career phase. HR’s role is to recognize the pattern and design interventions accordingly.
